Thanks to donations from local companies and individual music lovers, the Turntable Fund, Inc. is able to provide financial assistance to musicians who are unable to gig due to particular hardships outlined in the FAQs section of this page.

We encourage music patrons and businesses in the Harford County area to continue to
make donations to keep our fund ample and strong.

Do I Qualify for Turntable Fund Benefits?

In order to qualify for lost gig benefits, you must be a working musician who either resides in Harford County, MD or gigs in Harford County, MD at least 12 times per year.

The Turntable Fund defines “Harford County, MD” by the following zip codes: 21078,21085, 21084, 21005, 21001, 21009, 21015, 21014, 21018, 21130, 21017, 21132, 21028, 21034, 21154, 21040, 21160, 21047, 21050

What benefits may I receive from The Turntable Fund?

We may be able to reimburse you for lost gigs:

  • Up to $75* per lost gig

  • Up to $300* per 90-day period

  • Up to $1,000* per year

* Subject to change based on financial budget of The Turntable Fund, Inc.

What loss of work qualifies for benefits?

Loss of work may include:

  • Documented personal illness

  • Birth of a child

  • Documented illness of a spouse/child

  • Cancellation of a scheduled music performance by a venue in the noted Harford County area

  • Fire, flood, lightning, or “acts of God”

What loss of work does not qualify for benefits?

Benefits qualifications exclude loss of work due to:

  • Venue or booking agency termination of artist (fired)

  • Lack or loss of personal transportation

Lost Gig Benefits Application

The Turntable Fund is currently accepting applications for lost gig benefits. Please note the following when completing your benefits application:

After you qualify for benefits, we will cover lost income from venues in Harford County, or within a 50 mile radius of Bel Air, MD.

You must provide complete information about your lost gigs, including contact information.

We provide lost gig benefits to individual musicians; bands cannot apply as a group. Each band member should submit individual revenue lost.There is a three-month time limit for applying for past lost gigs.
